Otherwise, keep reading because we will walk you through the basics so you will be completely satisfied with your order. Why Do I Need a Printing Template? You don't have to use a print product template, but most clients find the trading card templates extremely useful. For starters, the templates are set to CMYK color mode for you, so you don't have to worry about changing things before you upload your artwork.
Our templates are already sized correctly and give you clear instructions about the bleed area, trim line, and safe zone. We also show you how to measure for borders in case you want to incorporate these into your design. I Don't Have a Designer. Can I Still Use a Template?
The short answer to this question is yes. As long as you have a graphics software program to work with, you can create your own design with an online trading card template. That said, we strongly recommend working with a professional graphic designer for several reasons. Print design is different than web design, and a pro will already understand technical concepts, such as font choice, font size, and color contrast.
If you don't have a solid grasp of what works in ink, you might not be happy with the final result. We do offer custom trading card design services for affordable rates, so feel free to put in a free quote request for our art department. Do You Have Any Premade Trading Card Designs? We have a library of business card designs, but trading cards are completely custom.
Most of our clients want to make their card games, so there's no real trading card template for that kind of project. If you have an idea for a helpful template, we're all ears! We welcome your suggestions, and we do our best to honor customer requests. Custom Trading Card Printing.
I've posted this elsewhere but I updated my Pokemon Playmat templates a little after using the older template. Here's an album with the new template with an example: Here's the older template with many more examples as well as a picture of the playmats actually printed. The older template is great and I think works really well for the purpose, but I wanted to clean it up a little.
If anyone wants me to create something for them using these, let me know. Edit: I added the vertical stadium templates to the first album. I'll also be working on templates that include the coin, GX token and a spot for damage counters/poison/burn tokens to see what it's like. If people feel like they want to pay me for creating anything just message me codes for the online game.

October 18, 2014, Jason requested a Pokemon-themed birthday party this year. It’s a hard theme for me to get excited about, mostly because I know very little about the game and even after watching an episode of the cartoon series, I still feel largely uninformed and uninspired. I’m trying to roll with it though, and so far, he seems pretty happy with our party planning.
Last week, I finished the invitations which are based on the design of the character trading cards. I’ve decided to make these available as templates so that others planning a Pokemon party can create their own customized invitations. The Templates There are 2 PSD (Photoshop) files:.
A in which all of the text and the image are customizable. A in which all of the text is customizable If you would like to use the official Pokemon font, you can. Also, I created yellow templates but the actual cards come in a variety of colors. If you would like to create cards in different colors, you can find more options. UPDATE: Looking for Pokemon party ideas? Check out our complete party post.
Hi Christine, In Photoshop, you’ll need to display the “Layers” panel by going to the Window menu at the top and clicking Layers. This should prompt a column to display on the right.
Click “Layer 2” which is the layer containing the photo. You can click the eye icon on the right to turn off my photo. At this point, there shouldn’t be any photo displaying on the invitation. Next, you’ll need to open your photo in Photoshop.
Size your photo to 624 px by 410 px (at 96 dpi) and then drag it (or copy and paste it) onto the invitation. That should be it. Julee. Christine April 28, 2015 @ 8:21 am.

I'm not sure what you mean about the seperate box The only reason theres nothing related to that on the symbol sheet, is because you just have to add the text. The attack font/sizes are basically the same as they've been since DPPt ish era: Attack Name: - Gill Sans Condensed, Bold, 42pt (requires using free transform squashing it slightly from right to left, to get it closer to how the official ones are.) Attack Details: - Gill Sans, Regular, 29pt (requires using justify if using more than 1 line and/or if said text goes to the edge (udner attack text) so clicking the text icon in Photoshop and using the drag option to create a box is the one you want).

Customer testimonial 'I've had several decks of cards printed here now, 20 at last count, with custom boxes. I'm a visual effect artist and I have a graphic reproduction background and I'm quite impressed the quality of the printing on both the cards and the boxes. And I was checking these with a jeweler's loupe! On the first decks, a set of 6 decks actually, the boxes were nearly a perfect match for all the test prints I did at home. However, on later decks, the boxes printed a bit darker, and on the last one, a subtle brocade pattern I had on a black backdrop had completely vanished.
Normally when I print something, I need to do a slight curve adjustment to raise the gamma, and it looks like I'll be doing that for future jobs. Even still, the boxes did turn out great – I planned for them to look good with a solid black, just in case the printing came out dark.
Custom Pokemon Card Sleeves
I'm still kicking myself on the first set though. I did one set of six for a gift, but I did a copy for myself and didn't print the boxes for that set.
Now I wish I did, because they looked great. I'm currently working on a few more decks and I'm eager to see how they look.' Dave Jerrard, Burbank USA February 17, 2015.
